Dood, Im pissed !!!!! I am soooo mad !!!
My Cd-Rom was busted. I spent like 6 months without CD-Rom. I got Lightwave from school so I HAD to fix it. So I finally fixed the damn thing and get LW in my computer. That was 3 days ago. Today I got Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and guess what ? The CD-Rom is busted again !!! How ?? I DUNNO !!! Now I just wasted $50 in a game I cant use just because my fucking CD-Rom stopped working !!! ARGH !! How messed up is that !!!!!!!!!!!
Warranty sucks !!!!
Im gonna call'em tomorrow and DEMAND money to buy a new CD-Rom and I'll install it, cuz I cant be sending the computer to Texas everytime the crappy CD-Rom stops working !!!
I cant be without a computer every week !!! I use my computer EVERYDAY !!! I have school work and my gf to talk to so IT CANNOT BE DONE !!! I REFUSE TO SEND IT AGAIN !!! THEY WILL SEND ME MONEY OR ILL BE SUING THEIR ASSES !!!

a 30 day warranty guarantees that on the 31st day the product will stop working. in this case i guess a 3 day warranty O_o |

I sort of know what you going through...my hard drive broke recently and it was still under warranty so I took it back to the shop. It ended up taking like a week and a half to get it back.
As for you, try and get them to give you the money and buy a better drive. Do it yourself and forget dealing with companies. |

you check the connectors? I remember my old computer used to like to ignore the cd rom drive.
