OK so here's the dealio yo
We have a new board that works a bit differently.
We are working on trying to get all the permissions and stuff set up so that it's just like the old board.
Please be paitient.
Also if you notice anything odd, please send me an email at
shino@pocketotaku.com
or a PM. I'm going to start asking that all non PO related images be placed on other servers for display. i will be deleting all non related images as soon as server cleanup is complete.
Also, I'm aware that the style is totally different. That will be the next thing I work on, but it's late and I'm tired. So I got the board up, I will work on it more on Saturday.
You may see that some of your images, avatars, and smilies are missing, they will be coming back over the next couple of weeks. Again, please be patient.

As I get emails from people, I will post them so everyone can get the info...
Razer emailed...
1) I can't find/see the TCG R&D forum. Maybe it's not back up yet or my status isn't upgraded back to see it.
2) I see the "view posts since last visit" link but not a "new posts" link. Has the new one replaced the old? It could be confusing to some who just look for the familiar wordings.
3) In the prfiles, it's moved your date of birth to the ocupation slot. I'm
guessing this is because one or more slots have been moved/removed.
More notes as I find them...

Hey man... I'm going to try to answer your questions really quick...
1) You can't see the card forum b/c I have not gone through and given everyone all of their permissions back. I have to do this one user at a time, so it will take a bit.
2) New posts since last visit is the same as new posts, just a little more discriptive.
3) Your stuff may have moved around in your profile b/c of the migration script I ran. When I found the script I was more worried about all the posts and members migrating over, which they did. I wasn't as concerned about the profiles. Time was my enemy on this one and the scirpt I used was the only one I found. It worked so I'm happy.

Ok, bugs and questions:
Bug: Avatars seem to have no size limitations, though your the profile editing menu says its limited to 100 x 150
Bug: Even though I'm set in the Mod usergroup now, I sitll don't have access to the adult forums. Do we need to belong to multiple groups now or is this just a bug in the allowances?
Q: Will any of the hacks from the old board be coming back... most importantly the quick reply option?
Q: I noticed the profiles include far less information than before. Will those be changed to have all the old info?
Anyway, the board looks good though. It actually seems to run faster than the old board to me. Needs a PO design makeover though (yeah, I know its coming) though the silver's not bad. Anyway, good job getting everything transferred over. Hopefully this will end all those CPU cycle problems. |

Yes you can be a part of more then one group. You have mod previlages but not Adult otaku privilages. I have to do groups 1 at a time on a per user basis. So multiply the number of groups by the number of members and that's about how many "looks" I have to make.

This board is definatly faster. It will be prettied up as soon as possible.

I'm aware of this and I'm still trying to find a way to fix this. I didn't see it in the admin options. I may have to put in a hack for this.

You have to edit the first post in the topic and change the type of topic back to a normal one from a sticky.
