a kid called me a "n00bl4r" once. i was like dude, i speak f***ing english and that is NOT a word.
what a friggen dumbass. i hate people like because they act all obnoxious and superior, but they have the grammar and spelling skills of a third grader, and the insulting skills of a 4 year old reading the 101 funniest poop jokes book. |

I think it was Doot who posted something a while back about some girl in England who typed an entire paper in text message lingo, as if nothing was wrong. I think that that is where this is going, and that is very, very sad. Seriously, have some manners when you play games. I play a lot of the card game Magic, and this happens here as well. A new kid will ask someone more experienced for help with something, and the "pro" will basically just laugh in the kids face and call him a n00b. That's how you discourage people from things like this.
What I usually do is just think about what these kids are like in real life...and laugh. Sure thing buddy, I'm a n00b...but at least I have an awesome girlfriend, good complexion, and proper hygiene.
I'd love to have one of these kids call me a n00b in real life...and then proceed to pop him in the face and make him cry...

I know how you guys feel. It happens in Jedi Academy too and its kinda annoying. So what, Im a noob, great, they have to know that they werent born playing the goddamn game, they were new once and when there's a big chance someone lese help them out, they should do the same, and if not, out of cortesy just because. Being an ass wont help anyone. They just suck. |
