Im completely in shock right now. I mean, I cant belive this shit. This is completely unbelivable !!! And this all happened because of 1 month.
I made a relocation of my mobile phone in May from a Puerto Rico number to a Orlando, FL number. Everything was going well, untill it happened. June, I didnt get my bill. They didnt send it, it got lost in the mail, something happened that the bill never reached my house. I was wondering why my bill was late, but I thought I was wrong, since I dont really know the dates I live day by day, I was completely lost on my date and the current time. All of the sudden, bam, I got a letter from Cingular telling me that why account was past due and they were going to inperrupt my service. I was like, 'What the hell... ?!' Two days later I got the July bill and it was for almost $200 because both bills piled up. I paid the bills. GREAT !! YAY FOR ME !!! After I paid both bills I got a bill for August for only $1.50 Yes, one dollar and fifty cents. So I paid it normally. I was excited I got such an unexpensive bill, but I knew something was wrong !! Three or four days after I paid that last bill, my service got disconnected !! I was super pissed and I called Cingular customer service. The guy there told me my service had been disconnected for about a month and I was completely shocked 'cuz Ive been using the phone for all that time. He said that I was a liar because his computer told him that its been disconnected for a month. I said, 'Sir, I was using my phone this morning, so dont go telling me that Im lying to you.' Anyway, it all ended in that I needed to reinstall my service. So I went to the store like 20 mins away from my house to get my service working up again. Cool, I thought. They told me in the store that I was gonna recived a bill for $30 for reconnection fee and my regular September bill. I was like, ok great. Everything was fine, but what happened ? I never recived that "$30 bill" they said I was going to, no I didnt. What I recieved was a $108 bill with a $150 credit in it too. I was like, 'HEY NEAT !! I got credit !!!' I thought it was cuz of that last bill I paid that was almost $200, but noooooOooOOOOOOOoooo. It was actually my deposit money, that when they disconnected my service they gabe me the deposit back. Now whats the thinkg with this ? They told me that the deposit was going to be sent back as deposit money and that I didnt have to worry about it because it was already when it was suppose to be. So I didnt worry about the bill since I had the credit. Last Friday, October 11, 2003, I recieved an automated call from Cingular saying my payment was late. I thought, 'Why ?' so I decided to call. To my surprise they had everything screwed up and I talked to this cool guy named Arthur Hall and he straighten everything down for me. For all the trouble they had caused me he gave me a $30 credit reducing my bill from $108 to $72. Then talking to him about my service and my phone I told him that I paid $200 for my piece of junk cell phone and he said, 'Sir, with your contract you're suppose to get a very cheap phone or a free phone !!' , and i was like 'WOAH !!!' So he told me that if I could find the reciept for it he might be able to get me some credit or maybe a new phone !!! So I was sooo excited about it. But before he hung up I asked him, 'Dood, how much the international minute costs ?' , because for those who dont know, Skylah, my gf lives in Malaysia so Ive been calling from my phone. He answered this to me, 'Well, you need a service to make the call that you can add to your phone after you have been with us for 6 months.' But that stroke me as odd since Ive been callong already, so I said to him, 'But Ive been calling, thats why I want to know the price of the minute, because I already made some calls.' He looked at his computer and said, 'Ohh yeah, I see that here. You HAVE been calling... weird. Oh well you want to add the service ?' I responded, 'No, why should I if Im calling already, just tell me the price please.' He answered, and this is the tricky and important part, 'Ok, if you're calling Malaysia it will be... .89 cents per minute.' I thought at that time that it wasnt much, now I had to be careful cuz a lot of calls can pile up and make my bill a living hell. So I said good bye and hung up. I got his name and a fax number to fax him the reciept. Then he said that because of all this problems my October bill might be a bit weird so he made a note and promised to call back today, Monday, October 13, 2003. Its 1:55pm and Im still waitting for his call, by the way...
So I get home today from school and I decide to check on my bill over the internet and to my surprise I find that my october bill is $300 !!!!!
I was like 'WHAT THE FUCK !!! $300 !!!!' I checked the online bill with all the minutes and everything... To my unpleasant surprise the guy had lied to me... The internatrional minute is $3.49, yes Three dollars and forty-nine cents !! He gave me false information. Apparently the service he mentioned to make the Int'l calls is a service that costs $3.99 and it REDUCES the price of the minute from $3.49 to .89¢. Pisses me off just because he said the minute was .89¢ when I asked him. he never mentioned a $3.49 anywhere !!! If I wouldve known when he told me I wouldnt have made all the calls I did on the weekend.
*sighs*
Thanks to Cingular Wireless my credit is fucked up and I dont even HAVE credit and just for this Ill probably never will.
And Im still waitting for Arthur Hall's call and if he doesnt call by 4pm Im gonna do the impossible just to find that asshole !!!

But seriously...that sux. We have Cingular, and we got asked to pay obscene amounts of money because of other thingies that we NEVER did. So ya...Cingular has problems. End of story *Cocks shotgun*

I was surprised when you told me your phone bills, and I really feel bad about it.. *sighs*.. I alwiz reminded you that calling from your mobile will be very expensive. It cost me $7.00 per min if I call you during the day and $5.50 per min at nite and that is why I never talk more than 3 mins if I’m calling from my mobile. I’m using pre-paid so that I can control my monthly bills (between $100 - $150 air/talk time per month). I know sometimes Celcom (my mobile company) suxx big time (for not delivering our sms or email on time) but at least it only cost me 10 cents emailing to you and 50 cents for sms to your mobile. The only great thing about Malaysian mobile phone company is that they only charged us on outgoing calls. It’s free for incoming calls.
I’m sorry bout the bills and I feel part of it is my fault, you’ve been calling cos you worried bout me and every time I did not pickup the calls, its goes to the stupid telemanager (my stupid sis accidentally activated it for me) and you got billed for the stupid machine..

Dood, this guys suck !!! Im talking to them on the phone right now. At least they gave me $116 of credit for all my int'l calling for that BIG FAT LIE that the guy and woman told me. But now I want justice for my $200 phone that I paid when I was suppose to have a free phone or a very cheap one.
*sighs* Im closing this account.
