What is with these old people and their refunds???

I swear to god. Everytime I come in and sub for someone at my old job I have to deal with these old farts and they're whining. Ok the movie doesn't work ok, fine. But when they start complaining and freaking about how much they want they're $2.10 back I get mega pissed. What a store credit for a free movie ain't good enough? I don't give two shits if your 50+ don't yell at me mother f***er. I don't make up the rules. Complain to the goddamn manager. But oh look whats this? A sign! What does it say? Lets walk over an inch or two and see what it says. It says "No Cash Refunds!". Holy bejesus Batman! Cut me a break. For the love of god 2.10 ain't much. if it where 5 dollars or more, yea i'd give it back. But 2.10? Are you trying to make me kill you? Goddamn old people are stingy as a mofo. Just don't get me started on those old indian ladies. I'm not a racist man. But my god. I wish they'd get killed by some crazy religious zealot. Stop talking and let me think. I'm a reasonable man. I worked for a reasonable store. We're a business. We're not an evil corporate conglomerate *cough*Blockbuster*cough*. We just want people to leave happy knowing that they're gonna have nice night with the family while scoring on your hard earned cash. A win/win situation.

hehe its funny i know but you have to remember that some o these people were born/lived in the depression and HAD to be stingy with money. Even though money isnt worth as much as it used to be it's very difficult to get rid of the stingyness. although i can see what you're saying here and maybe you could get a laser pointer so when they start complaining just point at the sign.....or their eyes to blind them.... either way its all good.

Actually, for someone to live through the depression they'd haveta be 70+ 60 was WW2 and that was they were BORN during WW2.

I've found that the REALLY old people are actually nice cause they learned to appreciate their lives being that they got to be there during one of the worst times ever.

But the 50 year old people are just mean because everything is changing so fast and they're too slow to learn it but they're too young not to.

But the 50 year old people of today were born around 1950-1960 and 13-20 years later was the hippy generation.

These 50 year olds of today were the "Free-Thinkers" of yesterday that belived government was bad and are now suckling at the tiet of Social Security (A government program for those un-aware) and voting to cut back school funding because they don't need it.

So yeah the same people who picketed Vietnam and said "Make love not War" are the SAME people coming into your video store yelling at you to give them their $2.10 back. Isn't it great that a person can lose sight of their moral holdings in only 30 years?
