Congratulations, the name Tilley has a historic Coat of Arms associated with it!

According to our research, the origin of the name Tilley is English and the Coat of Arms contains Silver with a black wyvern. The Crest is A cockatrice.

We have written an 1800-word history on Tilley. A small excerpt from this Tilley family history:

Spelling variations include: and others.

First found in Dorset where they were seated at Mersewood, where Henry Tilley from Tilley near Caen in Calvados acquired the confiscated estates of Geoffrey de Mandevill in 1083 The surname itself is of Norman origin, taken from any of several place names in Northern France called Tilly.

Some of the first settlers of this name or some of its variants were: Robert Tilley settled in Bird Island Cove about 1853; William Tilley settled in Bona Vista Newfoundland in 1665; Thomas Tilley was married in St. John's Newfoundland in 1784.

SUCKERS!

"toujours pret" is a french expression that means "always ready"

That means that you're always ready to/for anything ^_~
