I didn't feel like opening a new thread for this so

Anywho, I JUST started reading the Fooly Cooly Mangas (There's 2 that I know of..Graphic novels anyway) And lemme tell ya after reading only the first chapter I can tell this is gonna be some freaky sh*t...We're talking Jhonen Vasquez freaky.

(I read Graphic novels in my bathroom one chapter per movement...hehehe)

So I should be able to update later..But if ya like JTHM, I Feel Sick, or Squee you may like this cause the artwork is like damn near the SAME and there's freaky all over it.

Being a big fan of FLCL the series, and own both (and all I might add) of the FLCL manga I have to say...wtf. If you couldnt keep up with the anime, skip the manga, its like a cliff notes version of FLCL with less dialouge. I liked it, but you have to infer a LOT of material from the anime.

Yeah the FLCL manga has a LOT of places where ya just haveta stick your own story in..I think the writer thought that when you read it you make the characters your own and you must add things from your own mind to make something make sense. Failing that the manga would be terrible for those without imagination....But I have one so it was fairly good..But sometimes you go.."Buh?"

I heard from a friend that Pita-Ten's animation was tooth-destroyingly saccharine. Is the manga any better?

(Or was it Tokyo Mew Mew? Or both?)

Mrr. Just for an update-- read Ayashi no Ceres, was only moderately impressed. I don't think I'll be getting the rest. It's cute, but it didn't particularly stand out.

I got the first Fruits Basket, which the Anime follows almost to a T. Which of course means I love it.

Am probably discontinuing my following of Battle Royale, considering the third one has more Hentai in it than I ever want to see in my life.

Next on my list of Manga I want, though, is to try Demon Diaries, which I've heard a lot about. There were a few others that interested me, but my mind is drawing blanks right now.

I brought the first manga of Demon Daries i found it to be cute becuase it reminded me of another character i have for something else if they were ever put in that type of position found in DD.
