I wish I had a Ken doll right now. I'd show his ass who's bad. I'd take a toy gun to him and be all like BLAM BLAM BLAM! And then I'd get a lighter and melt him.

Burnt Ken smells awful.

We used to burn my friend's sister's Barbie and Ken dolls all the time. Wonderful things, especially since we'd usually coat them in whatever we found in the garage, and most things were flammable.

I had one that for some reason has always been very vivid with me. I used to have this when I was very young, but I can't say I've had it for quite some time. I'm in a mobile home in the middle of a desert. I see an out side shot of the place before my perspective switchs to the inside where Im doing something incidental. My mom is in the kitchen talking to me when another mom walks out from the opposite end of the trailer. This new mom gets a horrified look, like its disturbing her a lot that there is two of her. The first mom comes in from the kitchen and is very defensive and I propose they tell me my birthday. New mom is dead on, kitchen mom freaks and runs out.

Later that night two Beetlejuices sneak into the house, kill my mom and I hide under my bed. I see the foot of one as they are calling out for me, then I wake up.

I had that dream three times to my recollection, with a few years inbetween each retelling. I recognize no differenece between them, but I recall them being very vivid. Each time I think I am the same age (10-12ish) although come to think of it I can't say that for a fact.

Dai-Where's your father in all of this? Mayhaps he either isn't involved much in your life at the time of the dream, or does not present much of the typical male dominance? My interpretation of this was that since you had no father to protect you and your mother, a second mother was there to take his place; but you realized that without a father, it would do no good against an undead barber shop singer.

Sel-Usually has to do with regret, things you didn't say or do to those people that you intended to.

Excel-You need to take a break from all things Tenchi...a male Mihoshi?!

Kensei - Good analysis. I happen to be an apopted only child of a single mother for the vast majority of my life. At best I saw my adopted father once every few weeks, so I can see that when I was younger I might have tried to fill that in my subconcious. As I grew up, I suppose I learned to accept that and ceased having the nightmares.

Damn, that was pretty good! You ARE better than Miss Cleo!
