RESIDENT EVIL Outbreak! (omg its free online!)

Ok thats it. The free online just about sealed the deal on me. Im definitly getting RE:O. What about the rest of you guys? Maybe we can get a team together as soon as the game launchs. I know a friend who's a big RE gamer so he can help out.

I'm not to familiar with it but i'm always up for a good free online console game... what is the basic jist of the game?

basically the game involves the citizens of Racoon City where the T-virus outbreak happened. The government is gonna bomb the hell out of the city to stop the virus. You are one of the survivors of the Outbreak. You have to work together with other survivors in a variety of scenarios to escape Raccon City before it goes Blammo. There's a wide range of unlikely heros. A mechanic, surgeon, Police officer, waitress and some others. You can even become infected yourself and walk around as a zombie for a while! Chat is communicated through a series of short phrases and what not to retain the fear factor. Obviously a zombie attacking you isnt gonna be as scary if you are talking about hockey or something. It looks like its going to be alot of fun. I would have a better opinion of it but i missed the Beta test. You can use the hard drive with it to reduce the loading time but its not required.
