The Search for the Lillith Stone

[Tobias]

The oblong blade smacks into Eden, pushing Tobias's grip, but he uses the momentum to spin around. He parries each attack, and jumps back, getting back into his trademark defensive position

[Sperrit]

Sperrit sits some feet away, a squirel sitting in front of him. Both figures are moving small rocks around a ring of dirt. Sperrit scratches his head for a while and then pushes one of the rocks to the right.
"Your move."

[Tobias]

Now moving his sword be parallel with the ground, and holding it close to his waist, Tobias does something he doesnt normally do...he goes into an offensive stance. Charging forward, he takes three slashes: One horizontal and to the left, one horizontal and to the right, followed by a swift rising blade attack.

[Therin]

Lews Therin puts out his hand, almost dropping the sword, stopping Tobias' attack in its tracks.

"Hold. Our third partner comes. While we wait, I wish to welcome you to Gon. I believe our best hope of finding the Lillith stone lies atop Axehead, to the south. There resides the Axehead Monitor, an Axehead mage, gifted with powers beyond my comprehension, who has been consecrated by an ancient preisthood and sworn his life to meditation. He will answer the questions of travellers who survive the climb. I believe his extreme magical power and sensitivity will enable him to sense the Lillith Stone anywhere in the world, and to give us an accurate location." He bows to Tobias, and then to Sperrit, and gives a casual salute to the squirrel. "Give him my regards," he says to Sperrit with a smile.

[Nacht]

As Nacht awakens slowly from the illusion, she hears a conversation. It seems to be Sperrit, Tobias, and Lews talking to eachother about a stone. Sounds of sword fighting ensue and then stop. Nacht becomes increasingly more worried, thinking they are engaged in battle or some such thing.

With a lurch of her stomach everything comes into focus and she sees before her a squirrel playing with rocks with Sperrit. She sees Lews stop Tobias in midstride and telling them to wait for a third party member.

Feeling the ground under her feet, Nacht sits down hard on the ground, outting a hand to her head.

Wow, that was some ride Lews. I somehow heard all of you talking. So we are trying to find an evil stone, and our jobs are to kill you. She shakes her head as if to clear it. Is that right?

[Sperrit]

Sperrit's head whips around as he hears Nacht. He grins.
"Hey Nacht! Long time no see. Are you going to be coming with us, too?"

[Tobias]

Tobias whips around: "Now thats different...How goes it Nacht?"

[Therin]

Lews Therin nods impassively to Sperrit, and then to Nacht.

"She is, and that is a part of your purpose in this quest, yes. As things stand now, I cannot be sure if my son and I will be able to resist the mind-eating effects of the stone. I feel it must be tried, however, and that is part of why I have brought the three of you along. To prevent us from wreaking the havoc that the Lilith Stone woulc have us wreak. If you see so much as an iota of change in either of our personalities, you are to execute us as efficiently as possible. The other part that you three shall play is as companions. We will encounter many tough battles and seemingly insurmountable problems along the way, and, as was once very wisely stated, two heads are better than one. Therefore, it logically follows that five heads are better than two. Also, as you all know, a father will often share a difference of opinion with his son. You will provide much-needed variety in the social scenery. Nacht, though I do not believe we have met previously, I welcome you, the final member of our group. We leave tomorrow. There are plenty of supplies to be found within the walls of Gon, so I hope you will all be prepared for a long journey."

With that, the mage receded in thought, and Damion came to the fore.
"The old man does like a good speech now and then. Now, where were we?"
He levels his sword at Tobias. "Your move, Wanderer."

[Nacht]

Nacht looks down at herself and then at Lews. Lews... oh, it's Damion now isn't it? Well maybe you know the answer then: can I bring my familiar, Arislen? She does make my energy capacity considerably greater after all. Plus she is very useful.

[Therin]
