I am sure most or maybe all of you have seen a few Tom and Jerry cartoons. Now my beef with the show has nothing to do with the art, the sounds, or anything but Jerry himself. I watched it today cuz I was bored and I realized something I missed when I was a kid. Simply put...

Jerry is a total F***er

I used to think that Tom was just chasing Jerry as a sport or cuz he was mean, or maybe even to follow that cat stereotype. Then I realized in my older age Jerry starts every single battle. Heck in some episodes Tom doesn't even want to be bothered by Jerry but he still taunts him.

*** Example ***

There is an episode where it is infered that Tom is now a married man. His 'wife' finds Jerry abandoned and takes him in. And from the start Jerry keeps forcing his way into Tom's mouth to make it look like Tom attacked him.

Sigh

Jerry is the originating factor for every single school bully anyone has ever encountered. Period.

Dammit Doot..You're always complainin about censoring Tom and Jerry..Itsa shitty cartoon just like scooby doo, sylvester and tweety and Bugs Bunny cartoons. (Daffy, Porky, and Wil E Cyote roxorz..Oh and that Sam guy wit da guns)

But yer right Excel..Jerry was a prick...Basically I think it was a cartoon about how the white man would just hang out and not be doin nothin then the brown man would be like ADECA ADECA and the white man would be like "What tha hell" and then the white man would get a bottle or a cheese grater thrown at em and then the liberals (AKA the big mean dog) would start beating on the average white man because he's a racist because he was defending himself from the brown mans advances.

I like my idea over that whole school bully thing. hehehe

Plus it makes the cartoon tolerable because it's like true to life.

I personally don't like this.
I think is the same thing for road runner and several other anime.
The one whose chase have first taunt the other.

That's why I don't like it. But it's what people find funny. My mom just love tweety the bird for that reason.

For my part I don't like that but I don't mind people like it or not.

I think that if they know that it was the chase one who first taunt and find it funny they know that it's only for fun and not a exemple. My mom and a friends are like that.

Maybe, for childs, it's good to explain them if we see that they don't understand clearly that.

Tom and jerry => Ichy and scrachy

Childs know Itchy and scratchy is just funny and don't do it. It's obvious but tom jerry may be less obvious. A lil explanation, I think, would be just fine if somenoe are worry about that. That can't hurt.
