YAY! Proof!

I was watchin the news this weekend and found that the bastion for all you people who think America blows (IE England) has just initiated a COUNTRY-wide ban on Smoking in ANY public places...Anyone caught committing this atrocity will be charged a fee of about $3600 American Or about $2500 Pounds.

Granted I hate smoking and I'm actually allergic to cigarette smoke in mass quantities like in bars and clubs (One of the many reasons I'm so reclusive) but I've never impeded ANYONE from killing themselves.

And Low...The country many people love because it eledgedly has more freedoms then the ever so dictatorial USA has just banned something that is less dangerous than alcohol and has never OFFICIALLY been linked to second hand smoke lung cancer.

So yeah, enjoy yer freedoms while ya have em cause if ya look at the world you'll see MANY of them will be going if you decide to change Amrica to follow their leads.

Smoking needs to be illegal. After all, suicide is illegal, isn't it?

Attempted suicide is illegal. Suicide isn't...And it's not really illegal you just get ta go to a padded room.

I dunno..Cause you can't smoke within a certain distance from a doorway. And in England doorways are rampant. Plus it's all like rainy and cold...Will the Smokers thrive? prolly not.

But, see, smoking is not only suicide, it's homocide; second-hand smoke can damage people as well.

I have to agree with Demonic on this one. I'm all for it.

As a matter of fact. GA is in the process of implementing legislation that will not allow smoking in any public place except for dedicated bars.

nah, I don't think it's second-hand death, it's just respitory assault. I mean, people have died from bering punched, but we still don't assume that all punches do is kill people. It hurts people, and if done enough, then yeah, you'll die.

See, but running around punching people isn't legal. Smoking, for whatever reason, is; it's a drug, just like Marijuana and LSD are drugs. You can get addicted to it and you can die from it.

but if ur allergic to the smoke why aren't you happy about it being banned? i am, it smells! badly! and it's like killing yourself. and on one of the new Truth commercials they show victims of second hand smoke, and there's another one with a baby and some blocks and he spells stuff. that is such a cute baby!
