yes, but what I want to know is if I can give post a link to my current favorite story or, even better, just post the story? Because its thread is not currently among the automaticly selected 30 days worth of threads...or maybe I could just go post in the story's thread so it would be back among the living and people could start reading it again? PLEEEEEESE!?!?!?

If all of us weren't good writers, we'd kinda have a crappy RP section, but we've got a great one!

I'm in total agreement with Cobbi.

The threads we have started in the RP area... especially BF and Journey... have turned out great and eveyrone who has contributed has also been great.

PO is just a community of great writers

I haven't put any detail into anything I've written. But if you want to read an excerpt from something I'm writing, here. Take it. And like it. Or I'll kill you.

Red. Very dark red. Blood-red. Murderously blood-red, with a gaze to kill a puma in mid-leap.
Red. Bright red. Wisps of it writhe and flutter gently with the wind's shove.
White. The color of the clouds as they flow through the air.
Black. Deep, dark black. Black to envelope all that is good, all that is holy. All that is right.
An interesting combination of colors. An interesting combination of characteristics, that's what they'd always told the shepherd. The shepherd, who had nothing to do but watch the sheep. And think. Think about death... no, stop thinking about death. Think happy. Your parents aren't dead. They're alive, they're inside the house. Go, look, they're there. See? There's Mother on her morning laundry. Look, she's happy to see you. She's waving. Well, wave back. Wouldn't want her to think you're stupid, now, would we?
Good. There's Father. He's happy too. Look, he has a new crook for you. Watch, he's handing it over, reach out and take it, you fool, before--

A bone-chilling yell of agony pierced the night air. The sheep, grazing nearby, raised their dark heads and looked. Lucifer was trembling. The sheep, ununderstanding of this human emotion went back to grazing. Graze, Lucifer thought sullenly, worry about your grass. Forget the shepherd who keeps the wolf off of you. Forget him. Leave him to rot in his own pit of insanity and despair. Let him lay down and die. What do you care anyway, you stupid animals? Leave him be. He wants no part of you. He wants nothing to do with you!

Of course you would have sheep in your story. It is perfect with your affection for our wooly friends. Good story as well. Keep writing more! Fanworks section could use a little beefing!

All this has made me rethink the thread. I think the best course of action would be to change the thread for a nomination to a "lets compliment everybody on their outstanding achievements in PO history," thread. I change this for two reasons, one, it is too hard to decide the best writer, and two, it's the general direction everyone is pointing to. Gah!! I never really found a use for the old pointing emoticon, here would be the perfect place to put it too, too bad its gone for now.
