It's time

[Azurel]

Tobias had guessed correctly, the silver energy in Eden counteracted the beams by sending a wave of distortion down the beams and hitting Rayne's eyes. This caused him to slide back a good foot. He immediately slammed his hands into his eyes as a reaction. He removed his hands to reveal smeared blood and tears. He couldn't open his eyes all the way and the little he could was blurred. He put Katre up in a defensive position and tried to stay still, wanting his senses to become enhanced, it wasn't working.

[Tobias]

Tobias stands up, and slowly walks towards Azurel, noticing him in a frantic defense. It was too easy, but to test, Tobias fired a bolt of lightning at Azurel, square at the chest

[Azurel]

Rayne had since adjusted his eyes so that all he could see was blurry colors, but it was better than nothing. And, luckily for Rayne, Tobias' lighting was bright. Rayne saw the flash, he knew it was coming from almost directly in front of him. He tried diving to the left but the lightning hits Rayne's right arm and it goes numb. A scorch mark is made and smoke is coming off of his shoulder. Rayne staggers up, his right arm limp.

Katre forms in Rayne's left hand, but in a back hand position. He closes his eyes and tries to concentrate, focusing on Tobias' shadow. Rayne smirks and charges Tobias.

[Tobias]

Tobias stares wide eyed...he couldn't believe it.

He pulls Eden out and attempts to deflect his attack, pulling Eden perpendicular towards Katre

[Azurel]

Rayne pulls his left arm back behind him, ready to swing. He could see from Tobias' shadow exactly where Eden was. Rayne ran up and performed a horizontal slash with the backhanded Katre. His whole body swung with Katre, twirling. During this move, Katre and Eden meet and Katre is deflected on purpose. Rayne kept going. Twirling, he dropped to his knees, slashing again at Tobias' upper thigh.

[Tobias]

Tobias feels the sword clang off of his broadsword, and see's Azurel continue his spin. He backs away, but gets a small gash in his thigh. He looks down, then right back up at Az, and charges him again, but with much more force as he comes down with Eden incredibly quickly

[Azurel]

Rayne was stuck in that position with no way of getting up in time. Eden came down fast and hard. Rayne put Katre up to block, and it had been successful in keeping Eden from ripping through his entire body, however their swords were now locked together. Tobias was pushing down, while Katre was pushing up. Tobias and Eden were strong, and Rayne was on his knees. He was being forced backward due to the strength of Tobias, his legs were bending in ways they shouldn't. This caused great pain to Rayne and he could barely hold himself. Eden was near his face and out of instinct he looked down. He saw his own shadow, right underneath his body. He smirked. Tobias was now pushing Rayne into his shadow, eventually just dropping through and dissappearing, leaving Tobias to stumble forward a bit.

A cheerful bird was flying over the arena, unnoticed until it stopped mid-air and started chirping wildly. It's shadow cast onto the arena floor had a hand sticking out of it. Another hand served to rip the shadow wider so that Rayne's whole body could emerge. What was happening to the bird is too grotesque to describe. Rayne tried to walk, but it hurt too much.

Let me fight, I can fly while our legs heal.
You don't have a good grip on magic.
I have beaten my fair share of foes.
Weak foes.
Dammit move over!

With that, Rayne had become Azurel, hovering over the arena floor with his legs dangling.

[Tobias]

Tobias just spoke softly as he stared at the floating demon: "What is with me and knowing people with split personalities?"

Holding His hand out, a ball of lightning formed, and fired towards the floating azurel

[Azurel]

Azurel evaded by flying upwards. The ball passed underneath him and sparks jumped from the ball to Az's feet and wingtips. It shocked him a little, but not enough to do anything serious.

The edges of Azurel's wings began to become pure black and they emminated a slight shadow aura around them. He turned and flapped his wing in a manner that threw the energy that gathered on his wing at Tobias in a crescent. He did this with his other wing as the first regenerated it's energy. He continued this until he was barraging Tobias with energy crescents.

[Tobias]

Eden was sparkling with an irridescent light as Tobias swung the massive broadsword in a figure 8, each slash cutting another crescent in two. He continues to do this, wondering what Az will do next...
