Bad roommates

I know a lot of you guys are either in college, or have gone through it, so I'm sure a lot of you have your own stories...

At any rate, I can't stand my roommates anymore. They are one of the main reasons that I'm not living on campus next year.

Roommate #1 isn't really so bad. We roommed together freshman year. We get along, and we respect each other. He's neat, not loud, and doesn't stay up until all hours of the night doing whatever. I was supposed to live with just him this year, but Roommate #2 basically cried that noone else wanted to live with him (you'll find out why in a sec). The only problem with Roommate #1 is that he thinks he's better than everyone else, or at least that's how comes off. He also thinks he's God's greatest gift to women, and claims that Britney Spears is "getting chubby". This PISSES me off, but whatever...

Roommate #2 is the real problem. I've known him since freshman year. We were friends, and he used to hang out in my room all the time, sometimes when he wasn't invitied/welcome. He's loud, obnoxious, drinks too much, is selfish, and is a slob. He's gotten on my nerves on MANY occasions this year. He also has a girlfriend who sleeps over all the damn time, which is getting on my nerves as well. He plays his music loud, and is just generally inconsiderate. I did not want to live with this kid this year, but my other roommate tried to help him out. I would have stayed friends with him then, but now I want nothing to do with him. In our room, we have a loft, where my space is. Some other people have suggested standing on the loft and peeing on him when he sleeps, but I'm not that cruel...although sometimes he brings me to contemplation. What really frustrates me is that he could care less that he has basically driven me from living at school next year. He does nothing productive ever, but he's on the Dean's list because he refuses to take classes that offer any sort of challenge. I know it sounds like I'm jealous, but I'm not. It just pisses me off when I have to work so hard to EARN what I get, when other pricks can just coast through everything. It's really getting me to reconsider how true it is that nice guys really do finish last...

Ugg that sucks Ming. You should tell the administration about that guy. What a jerk..... I would freak out and go crazy If I had to live with someone so inconsiderate. I mean I'm only in 8th grade, but when I go to summer camp and room w/ people who are slobs and rude it ticks me off. Urrgh.... SORRY!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There isn't really much you can do about people like this, except put your foot down and refuse unconditionally to be around them. Sorry, buddy.

All you have to do is drink with him from time to time, and buy some ear plugs.

Ear plugs only work on Mariatchi music because it has no Bass-line. IF the guy listens to rap REALLY loud the vibrations are magnified because the plugs are rattling near your ear drums. So ear plugs are not an option and maybe the Mingster don't like da booze.

Az is right. I don't like da booze, and he listens to loud rap with bass that practically sets off car alarms on the street.

And besides, why should I have to wear ear plugs in my own room to get quiet? It's my damn room too...
