Diablo looked over at Azurel while the ball was just leaving his hands Diablo opened his fist and the Eerie energy flowed out stopping the ball completly but Diablo not paying too much attention to the ground and fell on his face. Embarrassed but not hurt Diablo got up and laughed a little at his mistake but he quickly returned to a fighting position. Diablo stared at Rayne and held his arms stretched out on his sides, the left building up all true elements and the other building up a bright energy. Diablo feeling the energy at its peek (or well for his current state) launched the elemtental energy while mixing the other with it. his caused the beam to travel very fast. Diablo on the other hand had been watching the flash jump and preformed it himself ending up behind Rayne and grabbed him trying his hardest to hold him still for the beam to hit.

"Idiot."

Diablo had most of Rayne's body still, but he could not control his mind. Rayne created a small ball of increased gravity that shot towards Diablo's mixed beam of energy. They collided and the beam condensed onto one point as a ball of mutt energy, with the gravitational ball in the middle. Rayne moved the ball around--up and over the two fighters. Rayne was tired, and resorting to old moves as a resort. Two shadow vines emerged from Diablo's shadow and wrapped around his feet. Rayne grabbed Diablo's arms as he tried to hold him still. Diablo was locked up all around and the ball of energy was coming straight at his back. The funny thing about the flash jump, it only worked if you have free movement and neither of them did.

Diablo roared, louder and louder. His eyes glowing the faint yellow again. The ground around them shook as the two fighters struggled. Diablo's size began to increase as he slowly transformed but Daiblo stopped the shape change rather short. Diablo had scales but no fur and he was on 7 fet tall and a small dragon like tail. Diablo used thhe tail wrap around Rayne's neck and began to choke him. (im guessing you cant block or dodge this, ya?) Hoping to cause him to let go and as for the vines, Diablo had been increasing his body temp to try and burn them.

Straining his neck, Rayne let out a "heh." He began to transform into Azurel as Diablo's energy ball was still heading towards Diablo's back. It hurt like hell to transform this time, Azurel's wings were growing into the small bit of space between Diablo's chest and Azurel's back. Az's bigger muscles helped his neck from being snapped as Rayne's was about to. The vines were made of pure shadow energy, so the increased temperature did nothing. Azurel took his claws, imbued them with shadow energy, and rammed them into the tail that was trying to choke him. They slid through with ease due to the energy. The energy ball was inches from Diablo's back.

OOC: forgot that you slamd your hand into it too and i forgot to mention he slid his tail off but.. its not going to happen with your hand going through it.. heh

Diablo remained still knowing he couldn't dodge or deflect the beam. He prepared for the pain and it hit. The beam hit him square in the back sending him and Azurel flying from their stance, Diablo bounced twice and then stopped. His body smoking from the beam and blood slowly oosed out of the wounds but, he stood, slowly raising to his feet, Diablo looked down and saw his sword, Shriken untouched and grabbed it. "Damn you!" Diablo mutterd as he coughed up some blood. Diablo stood ready with his Dai Katana, the blade shinning in the sun and the acid on the tip also shinned but with an eary green.

Azurel rolled a bit, ending up sitting on his ass facing Diablo who is now holding his sword. He stands up, brushing himself off and rubbing his neck. Az forms Katre blades in each hand and moves his head in a manner that says "Come on!" in Diablo's mind.

Diablo moved forward a few inches and then ran. He swung his blade and was able to be out of a critical area. diablo felt his movments grow sluggish but he pressed on swing his sword.
