This set is a lyric from a Survivor song called Can't Hold Back

So from these lyrics, I have a question...have you guys ever had a time like this? Or girls for that matter?

Remember that day when you met that special someone that could take you down to a pile of humility with just a glance? Remember that special someone who you would do anything for? Remember when life was simpler and all you had to do was say a few words of an inside joke, and love would erupt?

What happened to those days????

I watch all the people around me go through divorces, seperations, hateful arguments for what? Usually nothing big.

You know me, I am the guy who is always saying that you need simplicity....well I urge the world to follow some simple ideas....

1. Get back to those days...next time you see that special one....tell him/her what they really mean....I mean what they REALLY mean. Make yourself vulnerable and explain your life to them since they came into it.

2. If you don't yet have that someone special...don't give up. Never let the compassion inside you die. Without that fire, you're just flesh and bones. Not a pretty existance is it?

3. Here's a big one...that special person doesn't have to be a love...maybe a friend needs you right now. You never know...find someone, anyone and connect, if even for a moment. Two minutes of your time may mean a lifetime of prosperity and love that you passed to that person

4. Finally and most important...have faith and love for yourself...nobody is so bad they cannot be saved. Besides, if you can't hold yourself up, you can't possibly help anyone else fully.

This is dedicated to someone and that person knows who it is......it may not be a PO...either way the identity isn't important...just the rules

That actually reminds me of this song by Phantom Planet called "The Happy Ending".
I know exactly what you mean Excel.
People these days don't know what they're missing until it's too late.
That also reminds me of this quote by Gambit.

I know what you mean Excel. I wish it seems strange that sometimes we get to busy for the people we love. I remember we I first meet this good friend of mine we'd talk on the phone for two hours every night. Now I barely talk to her at all. And after reading this I think I might give her a call.
