Demonic vs. Silver Adept

When last we left our heroes, Demonic was explaining to Silver the terms. Two rounds, one a hand-to-hand battle, the next an all-out, anything goes brawl, with a period of rest in between the rounds. It was at this point that Demonic removed his breastplate and blades, readying himself for the test of physical, martial ability!

[Silver Adept]

Silver nodded to Demonic's challenge, and the somewhat bulky-looking robes shifted away into something much more mobile - and the sunscreen magic kicked in where the light-but-functional armor wasn't.

Picking up his staff from the gronud where he had put it, he asked, "Do you want a fistfight or with weapons?"

[Minosheep]

Demonic shrugs. "Whatever you want to do. I would prefer a fistfight, but if you want to use weapons..." FireGuardian and Bloodreign float into Demonic's hands, respectively gold and silver blades gleaming in the desert's bright sun.

[Silver Adept]

"Nah. This thing really only comes in handy in the second round. I'd just as soon be without it." The clothing shimmers again, this time showing off a more traditional martial arts uniform in white.

He bows to Demonic. "Ready for you. Let's go."

Behind the fifteen-year-old warrior go both blades, as he nods and bows in return; upon rising, he takes on a stance in which his torso is turned, right arm nearer Silver and bent, forearm erect. The other hangs at Demonic's left side, bent as well, with its hand in a fist, while his feet lie shoulder-width apart. A deep exhalation coming from his lungs, expelling with the air a dollop of fire.

"Bring it," the redhead growls, clearly not wanting to be the one who moves first.

[Silver Adept]

Although Silver doesn't appear to have any particular style to advance with, he still moves in on Demonic with some speed, weaving a bit around and throwing a side kick toward the body.

[Minosheep]

Demonic shifts as Silver throws the kick, moving past the offending leg and wrapping his arm around the knee; with a tug, Demonic hopes to pull him against a forceful palm to the sternum.

[Silver Adept]

Silver pushes the offending hand away even as his other foot leaves the ground, spinning away from Demonic and trying to kick him in the head. (Not that I expect that it will work...)

[Minosheep]

Demonic lets go once he notices Silver's foot leaving the ground, tucking his head and just barely avoiding the kick. But once Silver lands, Demonic's arm snakes out for a quick kidney punch.

Silver barely dodges the punch bacuse of his followup when he lands, spinning back to face Demonic.

"Do you normally fight dirty?"
