If you liked Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, your gonna love LaPucelle Tactics!
I'm about 30 minutes into it, and already I'm finding myself more intrigued. The layout is pretty much the same, but THe batle system is a little different. First you convert monsters to your side through purification, also, instead of Geopanels, there are dark portals. You want to purify these portals as well in order to gain points. But there's more. While standing on a portal, it color all of the panels in a line that extend to the edge of the map in the direction you face. You can then place a person along this line, facinga different direction and the line will curve into an "L" shape. Do this into a square/rectangle that comes back to the dark portal and have someone purify it, and, if the square covers at least 15 panels, you'll perform a miracle, and do HUGE damage to all of the beasts inside of it. You'll also get INSANE purify points, which turninto cash at the end of the battle. This game is pretty freaking fun, and it's another sleeper, like Disgaea, so get out there and get it NOW!

La Pucelle Tactics is kinda funky but i likes it a lot. I need to get more time to play it more. |
