I apologize right now for the multi posting that will be coming. I need to do this here so that I can make the stories flow well.

Welcome to Miniopia Morning News. I’m your anchorman Excel Zero. Some top stories today; Crisis in the Miniopia Oval Office as sordid 2-D pictures of Secretary of Cool Shino appears in papers. We’ll try to get word from President Doot and Shino. Also tonight, we have cooking tips from Sakura and DDR advice from our personality correspondent Suna-Chan. First up we have words from the recent GMEZ Bracket Finalist Rayne. I caught up with the fighter and we had this discussion.

*Outside the locker room in the Aero Arena. Excel walks up to Rayne with his cameraman and Microphone* Rayne! Rayne! Could I have a word with you? *Rayne barely glances back and continues to walk away* I understand Rayne, you must be nervous about large crowds. *Rayne stops and walks back* “I fear nothing. You got your interview’

Excel “Tell me Rayne, how did you feel you faired when you first began in this bracket?”
Rayne “In the end, I won. How I felt about the beginning means nothing.”

Excel “And what skills would you say helped the most in your fights?”
Rayne “Intelligence.”

Excel “What fighting moment was most memorable to you?”
Rayne ”Every time I saw blood.”

Excel “Did you ever think you would get this far?”
Rayne “Yes.”

Excel “What if anything, will you do differently in your final battle?”
Rayne “Nothing.”

Excel “What do you think are your chances in the final battle?”
Rayne “He is a tough opponent, winning or losing won't matter in this fight.”

Excel “I don’t want to take up any more of your time. Do you have any final comments?”
*Rayne pauses for a moment and gets up and leaves without another word*

*Excel turns to the camera*
Excel “Strong words from a strong fighter. Tonight we will have an interview with Reverend and we’ll take a look back on the fights that led up to this event. From the Aero Arena, this is Excel for Miniopia Morning News. Back to you Sakura”

[Excel Zero]

Welcome to Miniopia Nightly News on KPOM. Tonight I have caught up with Rev in the training area. If you haven't been following, Rev will be battling Rayne in the final match of the GMEZ Bracket to be the champion.

-He walks to Rev who is training at the bag. He approaches quietly and Rev silently and politely nods-

Excel "Rev I was wondering if we could ask some questions."
-Rev stops and turns to the reporter-

Excel "How did you feel you faired when you first began?
Rev "First, let me say thank you Excel for letting me talk with you. It's always nice to unwind before a fight. Because, to be honest, I'm a nervous wreck beforehand. It doesn't matter the fight, or the opponent, I am a nervous wreck and a basket case before the match begins."

Excel "What skills would you say helped the most in your fights?"
Rev "If there is one thing I had a lot of when I was young, it was time. I like to fight where I can take any punishment thrown at me, and hit when it's going to do the most damage possible. I might not start the fight, but I will finish it."

Excel "Rev, many millions have watched you closely and chosen you as a hometown hero of sort. What fighting moment was most memorable to you?"
Rev "Oh Mod, there are so many. But to be honest, I'd have to say it was the first round, when I finally beat Musashi Daigro. You see, after my first tournament where he knocked me out, I secluded myself from the world. It was just me, Aftershock, Surbifeh, and Mod. I worked hard to identify where the holes in my fighting skills were. And wouldn't luck have it, but the guy I've lost twice to is who I fight first round. But I was graced with a win, rewarded for my hard work, and got to advance."

Excel "When you started, did you ever think you would get this far?"
Rev "In all honesty, no. I thought there was no way I'd ever beat Lord Shinobish, and then my double Terin."

Excel "Is there anything that you will you do differently in your final battle?
Rev "Up to now, I've not relied much on using my powers of Order emmisary Aftershock or Chaos emmisary Surbifeh. But now I must face Rayne, a champion of the Void, the force diametrically opposite to Mod. If I am not careful enough, or get too rash, I may easily fall victim to his power"

Excel "What do you think are your chances in the final battle?"
Rev "Well, it all comes down to Mod. If the will of Mod is for me to defeat our bitter enemy, then I shall prevail. I've been delivered through my rival, my double, and one of the martial masters of this land. I can only hope I shall be as blessed in the coming conflict."

Excel "Do you have any last comments?"
Rev "I can't think of any more really. Just be sure to make a contribution to your local Mod Shrine, they don't stay open for long otherwise"
Excel "There you have it folks. A man, a myth, a blessed legend in the arena."

[Azurel]

Took me a while but I updated my stats. Looking at them, it looks as if I'm destined to lose. Let the battle begin!

[Reverend]

I'm not so sure about that, you match me in endurance, by far the best trait I had going for me, just about match my accuracy, and beat me in agility.

[Excel Zero]

The crowds take their seats moments before the fight. The lights are dim over the arena and bustling and indistinguishable voices can be heard. As they all take the stands we look out over the crowd. Shino and Doot can be seen in discussion over the matter at hand. Previous battlers of the GMEZ bracket have also joined the mix in their own private boxes. The intensity is incredible. Let's take a look back at what it took for the fighters to get here.

Rev, the Reverend Chosen of Mod has battled harsh opponents and harsher odds to get here. Musashi put up a tough fight in round 1 but Rev was able to eek out with a victory. Then in a stunning round two Rev faces off against one of the toughest Martial artists alive. Shino brought the power to the arena and again the blessed Rev took over and brought home another win. Finally Rev fought his double, the mightly slacker, Terin. This battle was back and forth and then in a last ditch effort, the Rev drops Terin. Rev is returning this last battle with the Chosen Mace Ruler. The slicing and hard smashing mace will be sure to devestate the opponent.

Rayne, the quiet, not-so-honorable dark one. The Void tore through Silver Adept and Ultrawolf with his use of black magic and insane fighting aggression. In the end Rayne beat down the drummer, Kurisu in the semi final to move on o the big show. Here he is again to fight in the final with his Black Katre Blade. He promises to show Rev much more power than the crowd is accustomed to seeing.
Now let's finally take a look at the dome. The Cage of Void and Mod as it's known is withheld for only the most important of matches. The cage was designed to allow massive amounts of energy. The top is capped by a giant alloyed antenna made special by the secret alchemists to help draw in further power. Unlike the other arenas that had physical attacks, this Cage simply let's both magic users do what they do best. Now let's see some sparks.
The ring announcer walks to center stage and grabs the mic. A potlight is only on him as the crowd hushes. "Ladies and gentlemen....LEEEEEEEEEEEET'S GET READY TO RUMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" The lights turn up and the deep black bars of the Cage pulse with energy. The crowd is saved by the safety glass. Both fighters descend on hover boards and take positions across from each other. "The announcer looks to each fighter. "There is no such thing as a clean fight. Be it honorable or not, I want you two to give it your best and come out fighting when the bell tolls." The announcer leaves the arena and the crowd breaks the 180 decibel level. The bell rings and we are off in the Championship match for the GMEZ bracket.

Rev wastes no time in unsheathing the mace. He looks to the mace and whispers to himself, "Mod be with me in all that I do." He leaps forward and strikes with great intensity. The blunt end of the mace rests upon Rayne's left shoulder. Instantly a crack is heard and the crowd watches a great bolt of lightning in the sky at the moment of impact. Rayne's shoulder drops a bit and he pulls back angered.

The second Rayne falls back Rev calls out "Chaos Burn!" The clothing on Rayne's body lights instantly. The materials burn in purple and deep blue. Rayne hits the ground and rolls out the flames. He stands back up slowly and confidently. He seems to be absorbing these attacks from the great Rev.

Rev calls a second command, "Confession." Rev strikes the ground as Rayne stands dazed. A cloud of atmosphere rises from the ground and encompasses the two battlers. Rayne swishes around in the mist looking for a move. Rev, unnaffected, jumps toward Rayne and strikes him on the chest with the Mace's sharp side. Blood spurts from his new wounds and covers the ground. The crowd stands and looks. The can see only blood coming from the mist.

As the cloud dissipates Rev is standing a mere 3 feet as rayne drops to the ground. Rev wonders if he is victorious. Suprise comes to his face as Rayne laying curled starts to glow purple. A horrid ball of black energy grows then collapses on itself. The ball then intesifies and detonates throwing Rev all the way back to the wall. His back slams against the bar and he can feel a damaged disc between his shoulders and notices his lower body is experiencing lack of feeling.

Rayne stands casually and wipes away some blood. He forms two small balls of black and hurls them to Rev's prone position. The tower needle glows and the balls intensify. They impact into the ground before Rev spraying rock and debri into his left eye. A small piece of flooring penetrates Rev's left arm as the blast tears apart the very foundation.

Rev finds relief in his good eye and stands slowly carrying the mace. He drops to one knee in prayer. "Chaos, please come to my aide. Chaos Bolt!" He stands and points to rayne. A bolt of million degreelighting streches at incredible speed to Rayne striking him in the knee as he tries to jump back. Pieces of cloth and footwear are literally blown off of his body.

Rayne calls yet another bolt. This one hits harder into Rayne's seemingly lifeless body. The jolt raises the weary fighter off the ground and tosses him skyward. He limply falls back to Earth and collapses. Rev allows a moment to breathe and Rayne begins to regain.

Rayne moves in quickly, robes flowing, and his mace flared. He lunges and brings the blunt side of the mace upon Rayne's head. Rayne is knocked down and unconscious. Albeit it very briefly. Rayne stands quickly to the shock and dismay of Rev and his fans.

Rayne forms the Black Katre Blade. Rev and Rayne strike at different angles. When the two weapons clash, a greta thunder is heard throughout the land of Miniopia. Fans are knocked clear off their seats as both fighters meet face to face. They both push off each other.

As Rev stumbles backwards, Rayne slices through his opponent with his blade. A clean cut through Rev's chest sends oxygenated blood spraying and hitting the safety glass. Fans pull back in fear of their mortal lives.

Rayne holds out his right arm. Suddenly the entire arena is moving in slow motion as blood dribbles from Rayne's hand and forms small globules in the air. Rayne yells out "Release!" The small globules form organic bullets and fire toward Rev. Rev cannot move as piece after piece pierces through his lung and abdomen. Rev falls back against the glass as even bloodthirsty fans are horrified by the carnage.

Rev prays one last time. "Mods, please protect and fight along with me. I need your divine assistance now. I beg you." The arena goes silent as clouds form both black and white. They swirl around in terrifying fashion. The crowd begins to feel the arena heat up. A face, almost devilish, forms in the clouds and speaks in an unearthly, deep, rough voice. "Rage...of the Inferno....." A haunting laugh is heard as the face dissapears. They very air turns to powder then sets ablaze. Both fighters become instensely hot. Rayne begins to bleed profusely. Rev does everything he can to stay away from the volcanic air. Suddenly the sky turns red and then back to dark. The cloud dissapears slowly and the temprature lowers. Rev looks over worriedly and watches Rayne fall to the ground without a sound. The crowd hesitates and then stands pounding on the glass as the announcer descends and holds up Rev's hand in victory. "Ladies and Gentlemen! We have a new Champion of the GMEZ Bracket. Give a hand for Airius, The Reverend!" The crowd roars as medical units take Rayne away. A tear of pain and relief comes to Rev and he silently thanks Mod. The house lights dim as the final chapter of this long path is put ot rest......

A few final notes

Thank all of you for your patience and belief in me. Without Shino's support I could not have done this great feat. It was hard work, sometimes hours of typing and recreating but I loved the end product in every single fight. So thank you all again for coming to the GMEZ Bracket!
