Yeah, I too am a newbie, and guess where I found out about Pocket Otaku...
-Yes, I am one of "THOSE". I came (to AWA), I saw (the booth), and now I can set out to conquer (the forums).
Actually, in all honesty, it didn't take a spiel to sell me on the idea. I have been missing out on the online anime community since the decline of my other group about a year ago. Seeing a community with this calibur of fan-following, cute little chibi, and enough divotion to turn out in such numbers; I was sold. At that point it was just a matter of putting together a character idea. I doubt anyone there remembers me, but I look foreward to getting to know you between now and the next time I head down to Atlanta. |

AWA was fantabulous, although sad i didn't sign up there...
it does give me more time to think out my chibification...
too much time...
i've been through almost an entire notepad scribbling ideas and backgrounds...
I CAN"T MAKE UP MY FRIKKIN MIND!!!
two weeks and i'll be registering online.
just...two...weeks...is such a long time...
like watching escaflowne and waiting for them to actually kiss...
eternity must be faster.

Sovin, it wasn't in the spiel, but when the world bows before us, any member of PO becomes the new ruling class, so you chose well.
But just remember that the Post-Fu you speak of, needed to conquer the forums, is locked away by the Four Pans (Pot, Kettle, Skillet, and Wok) |

i was only at the both for about 10 min i think...not long enough. I wish i could have stayed longer and gotten to talk to you guys more. I really wanted to meet to Doot. I've been talking to Bekuki and Shino viva Instant Messenger and it's been...priceless.
AWA 2005 i'm comming directly to PO's both and hanging out for a good couple of hours at most. WOOT!
BTW i got my Best Friend to sign up with you guys. So look out for him. (i think his name is Warchild_Mark4 but i'm not too sure, i'll get back to you on that one) |
