Fenris nods at Bekuki and she nods at him.
Fenris unsheaths his katana and roars.
They run into the circus tent ready to kill any and all who lie within.

....

Nothing. Another empty tent.
They've been tracking these circus folk for weeks.
For circus folk they are not. Their true selves is that of the demonic nature.
Kidnapping children and making them slaves in their base in the Shadow Lands.

"Kuki, There's one last tent...There's got to be someone in there...."
Fenris slowly approachs the entrance of the tent and rolls back the opening flap.

Inside is an old woman and a glass globe.
She cackles and looks at Bekuki and Fenris.
"Ye have come for me life. I know this to be true. I have forseen it."

"Then you know what comes next."
Fenris readies his katana to strike down the foul demon woman.

"Wait."
"..."
"Something blocks my vision of your future. I like you two. Such a cute couple. I shall tell you a story. When the story ends you may kill me. Think of it as my last words."
The gypsy cackles again.

"What if? What if you and The Girl had known each other since children. How much would be different."
She cackles again.
"Everything."

Purple mist swirls within the globe and our tale begins.
A tale of adventure. A tale of love.

Emerald Hills

Ultrawolf and Bekuki age twelve.
Lying side by side in the grass of the Emerald Hills region of what is known in the present world to be Twilight Forest.

"Hey Bekuki! I can't believe how long we've known each other. You're my best friend!"

She grinned at him and poked him in the tummy. "That's right! You're such a sweetie!" She smiled. "Sooooo....wanna have..." She grinned. "A tickle fight!?" She flapped her wings and put her finger's under Ultra's armpits and started to tickle him. "Tickle Tickle!"

"Haha! You're so kooky! I don't know what I'd do without ya..."
Ultrawolf turned over on his side and started snoozing.
Smiling all the while.

She sweatdropped. "Who's the kooky one now?" She grinned and poked him.

And that's when things went wrong. The time that Pandora opened the box. What a dumb blonde.

Bekuki was snachted by demons. A fake note was left for Ultra:

Ultra-
I'm going with my mother and brother to see my father. I'm sorry! It's so sudden! I hope to see you soon!

The next morning Ultrawolf woke up and found the note.
He sat silently rereading the note over and over.
Tears poured from his eyes.
She wasn't coming back.

His only friend was gone.
His family was killed much like this world's Ultrawolf.
Unlike her, Ultrawolf had nowhere to go back to.

Five Years Later

Ultrawolf wandered the five years after Bekuki's disappearance, never staying in once place for long. In his heart his deepest wish was to see her again but he knew he would not. He did find her again however. Now seventeen Ultrawolf enters the town of Raven's Fall. He wears a cloak over himself. None make eye contact with him. In his five years as a wanderer he encountered a monster of his own and it branded it's seal on him.

In front of Ultrawolf, a pub wall broke open and a man flew out of it, obiviously a drunk one. "DON'T YOU DARE PUT YOU'RE HANDS ON ME!" From the hole in the wall, emereged a dark blonde haired teenager, complete with massive angel wings. "You're not worthy!"

"Kuki?"

"Hm?" She turned her head and looked at they boy. Her eyes narrowed for a second and then she smiled and hugged him. "Ultra! Where have you been!?"

(In her mind)
...This boy....Ah! That's her friend! Hmmm...I may just be able to have some FUN with this....

Ultrawolf stepped away from Bekuki. He glanced upwards at the sky.
Full Moon.

He roared at her, "Stay away from me...It's only a matter of time..."

He held his chest as if he felt sick.

"Ultra?" She knelt down by his side, and took his hand. "What's wrong?" Her eyes widenind. "You're not...a werewolf, are you?"
